Photo Search and Archive System

BJC Media Services has two systems to electronically archive photographic images. These systems allow us and our marketing clients to search for images from our desktops.

The archives includes images of hospitals, executives, logos and historical images. Images from freelance photographers or other sources can be added from designated computers at each hospital and service location.

The database includes information about usage restrictions and when each image was last used so graphic designers and team members can ensure specific images are not overused or used inappropriately.

Training is available on how to add to and access the images in the database.

Stock Photography Resources

BJC Creative Services subscribes to Jupiter Images’ Premium Plan, which includes eight premium stock photography collections and four popular subscription services.

BJC Creative Services’ designers have access to more than 730,000 images from professionally created collections. The plan includes 1.6 million images from Stockxpert, created by digital artists and community photographers from around the world.

An annual fee gives us:

• Access to royalty-free images
• Monthly updates totaling 70,000 new images annually
• Keyword search capability and thousands of health care images
• Web access for anyone to search the image database
• Ability for up to 11 graphic designers to download high-resolution images
